Oscha Plaid Prototype, made of 100% organic combed cotton.
This Oscha Slings tester made a little holiday here so that we could test it for a while. It’s made of 100% organic combed cotton and a new weave structure. I would say it’s medium thick with a little bit of grip and a lot of fluff. In comparison with other allcottons it has slightly more stretch and cush. In fact is has a perfect amount of diagonal stretch what makes it feel like a second skin when you wrap it tight. And that’s not difficult to do because it’s wrapping smooth and easy. Tightening every part of the wrap is no problem at all and so I never had a bad wrapjob with it. I acutally have a phase right now. A phase of wrapping lazyness. There are only a few wraps that I can handle at the moment, with the others a lot of sagging happens, I don’t get them tight. I know it’s just a phase and it’ll be over soon again but this wrap was a great companion in this time because I never had problems with it.
I mostly wrapped our 4 months old baby in it. Because of it’s thickness it wouldn’t be my first choice for a fresh newborn but now with a bigger baby it is absolutely fine. It’s not bulky at all but very soft. And it’s also a great toddler wrap. I tried a double hammock with our 3 years old and wow! We ran, we jumped but everything stayed in place and it was very comfortable. We had a lot of fun with this tester and I am totally looking forward if Oscha will add this weaving to their product range.
