I already testet a lovaloom wrap some time ago and when I saw this one I became very curious. Although I loved the wrapping qualities of this brand, the patterns never really catched my attention. But this looks so interesting that I wanted to give it a try. And I am very happy that I did so.
It arrived here in a lovely package which is a very nice extra in this high end wrap world. It increases the feeling of luxury and that there is something special in that parcel. When I first had it in hand I was surprised by it’s weight. Of course, I knew about the 335 g/m² but it felt extremely heavy and I wondered if it would be okay with our tiny 5 months old baby. It just came from another tester, so it was already washed and broken in so i could directly start wrapping. And soon came the next surprise: I could tighten it very easy and it was smooth and soft and like a bandage around me and my son. The heavy feeling disappeared.
The white inside of this wrap is more slippery than the blue outside which is very fuzzy and fluffy. This tussah silk gives the wrap a stunning texture and grip. I also love it to look at this side of the wrap with all the colourfull dots and slubs and nubs. No part is like the other. The inside makes wrapping easy and gives you a soft and airy feeling on your skin. It’s a pretty hot summer here but we didn’t sweat in LeDenim, well, not more than in other wraps. It is super supportive and makes wrapping so easy. Even a quick and acutally sloppy wrapjob stays in place and let the baby sleep comfortably for hours. I can imagine that it is great in all sizes despite a ring sling. I think it might me difficult to pull the fuzzy outside through the rings, but you never know. It could also be okay.
I feel like this weaving is something new, at least I never tried such a wrap before and love the different characters of both sides. I am curious if there will be more colourways!
